Bridget Schirripa, MSW, LICSW
I have had the honor to support and walk alongside adolescents, emerging adults and their families for the last 15 years. I have worked in diverse clinical settings including an intensive outpatient program, community mental health, outdoor based treatment and school social work.
I first opened my private practice in Middlebury, Vermont in 2015 and continue to find deep gratitude working in such a special community.
Late adolescence and early adulthood are times of profound transition. Big shifts are occurring socially, emotionally, and academically. It can be a lot to hold, and I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for self exploration and healing.
I love working with individuals in this life stage, offering space to explore themes of identity, values, hopes, fears, and the path ahead.
My areas of expertise include navigating complex family relationships, building self-compassion, embracing one’s authentic self, strengthening one’s personal voice and agency, and managing anxiety/depression and life stressors.
